About me
I grew up in South of Brazil, in a small town called Santa Cruz. I’ve spent my childhood climbing trees, looking for funny stones, cooking flowers and building my own tent made with whichever textile I would find in my Mum’s laundry place. Since very little I loved to discover new things, and the sense of adventure, was often the most tasty.
As a teenager I practiced capoeira a Brazilian martial art which involves music, dance, game and philosophy.I’ve travelled around south of Brazil, for four years, meeting people and interacting through capoeira. I also worked as a volunteer during a year in a small slum, teaching capoeira to children and teenagers.
I’ve studied journalism and worked for two years in the city's newspaper.
When I turned 21 I decided that I was ready to fly. And I came to London to learn english and experience a new culture. Seven years have passed, and I am still here. I guess I could apply what Samuel Johnson once said: "Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford".
At the moment I am studying towards a BA/ International Studies/ Environment in the Open University.
Photography is my way to tell unique tales in silence and to experience the world with all my senses.
